What the calculator does with your numbers
Ratio is a static website. Width, height, ratio and DPI values are processed locally in your browser with JavaScript. They are not transmitted or logged. Test cards and videos are drawn in your browser too. When you are not signed in, your screen list for batch export is saved in your own browser's local storage so it survives a reload, and it never leaves your device. Remove screens with their × buttons, or clear this site's data in your browser. The copy button writes text to your clipboard using your browser; the site cannot read your clipboard.
Signing in (optional)
You can use everything without an account. If you sign in, accounts and saved projects are handled by Supabase, a hosted database service. We store your email address, the sign-in method you chose (email link, Google or GitHub), and the projects you save: their names and their screens (name, resolution, LED panel layout). Nothing else. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive only your email address and basic profile from them, never your password. The sign-in library is loaded only when you open sign-in or are already signed in; visitors who never sign in do not contact Supabase at all.
Sign-in keeps a session token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. Sign out removes it. Account > Delete account removes your account and every saved project immediately and permanently.
Donations
The "Support Ratio" button opens Ko-fi in a new tab. Payments happen entirely on Ko-fi under its own privacy policy; Ratio never sees your payment details.
What the host sees
The site is served by a static hosting provider. Like almost every website, the provider may record standard technical information when your browser requests a page — IP address, browser type, the page requested and a timestamp — used for security and aggregate traffic analysis.
Advertising and tracking
Ratio shows no advertising and uses no tracking or analytics cookies. If that ever changes, this page will be updated before any such code ships.
